Pat ventured into the field of personal training upon earning his Exercise Science degree from Miami University, in 1999. Since then, he has worked in multiple gym settings, from boutique training facilities to large commercial gyms. He’s worked passionately to help each and every one of his clients reach their personal fitness goals. After assessing their current fitness level, he implements a plan to achieve their goals safely and efficiently.
Pat has added to his fitness training repertoire over the last three years, by engaging in youth sports coaching. He has served as a Head basketball and baseball coach for his 10 year-old son’s teams. Pat has seen firsthand how introducing and developing proper speed and strength training routines can enhance performance and results in the field of play.
Pat has attained multiple industry certifications, including CSCS (National Strength and Conditioning Association), and Health Fitness Instructor, through the American College of Sports Medicine. These certifications, along with his degree in Exercise Science, have laid the foundation for the information he strives to relay to his clients. However, nothing has taught him more about fitness training than the experience of working with individual clients with varying issues and circumstances. Being able to gain invaluable knowledge through dealing with thousands of health and fitness profiles has given Pat the ability to assist every client in their journey towards enhanced fitness and well being.
